Our work is funded primarily by our local community, via individual financial gifts and the occasional small grant. In keeping with our model, we do not request government or corporate funding. This commitment keeps us beholden to no one but our community. We need and appreciate your support.

If you cannot contribute financially, but want to support the work with other kinds of donations, the items listed below would be greatly appreciated and well-utilized:

- Hewlett Packard ink cartridges, No.74 (black) and No.75 (color)

- Rolls or pads of newsprint/butcher paper

- Tape: Scotch, duct, masking and packaging
- Toilet paper, tissues (prefer Seventh Generation from Semilla Natural Foods)

Las Vegas Peace & Justice Center Financial Report,  July 1, 2009 – June 30, 2010

A huge THANK YOU goes out to all who have donated monetary gifts and in-kind contributions to support the work of the Las Vegas Peace & Justice Center. I could not keep going without your generous support. The Center runs solely on your gifts and the occasional small, non-corporate, non-governmental grant.

To stay true to the Center’s grassroots model, we are not a 501(c)(3).

Our community-based work could not continue without you.

GIFTS TO THE CENTER:                $ 12,360.76

($ 5,850.00 in grants given to support the work of the Center)

($ 6,510.76 in checks from individuals and cash in donation jar)

EXPENSES FOR THE CENTER:     $ 12,985.20

(For example: rent, utilities, office supplies, subscriptions, fundraising, printing, phone/internet/postage/website, transportation/networking/meetings, contributions, memberships, fiscal sponsorships, miscellaneous)

DIFFERENCE:                                        $ - 624.44    (covered by Pat)

In addition, GIFTS (totaling $ 7,225.00) were given to support Pat's work as Co-Director of the Las Vegas Peace & Justice Center.
