Summary: We discuss the upcoming "Choose Your Weapon: Fighting Nonviolently" Summit. It is being co-sponsored by the Rio Gallinas School, United World College-USA, and the Las Vegas Peace and Justice Center. The conference is being held at the UWC, is free and open to the public. The community in encouraged to attend. There are 35+ workshops, entertainment, films, hands-on activities, special guest MinniJean Brown Trickey of the Little Rock Nine, and much more. There will be a Las Gorras Blancas art gallery exhibit, and other activities for middle school and high school youth and adults. What a great way to celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King Day. Please join us Sunday, January 17th at 7:00 PM, and Monday, January 18th from 9:00-4:00 PM at the United World College.
