Summary:  We discuss the "Give Love, Give Life" Campaign, organized by John Trudell and Friends. We play (thanks to Lyla Johnston, Robin Collier, and KTAO) an audio clip of an interview Lyla did with John in 2007. We talk about the importance of health care for all, and focus on the women and children. We play songs by Kris Kristofferson, John Trudell, and Bad Dog, who will all be performing at a benefit concert at the Lensic on Sept. 26th, 2009.  The concert proceeds support the Tewa Women United, Young Women United, and Women's Health Services.

UPDATE from Tara Trudell (17 Sept. 2009): "Kris Kristofferson has had to pull out of this benefit concert due to unforeseen circumstances...he sends his deep regrets and will be greatly missed! Jackson Browne has graciously stepped in to perform at this amazing benefit concert in his place!"
