Summary: Adam and Angela announce today's El Centro Family Health Fiesta and open house for the clinic. El Centro Family Health provides quality health care at affordable prices to rural northern New Mexico. Yolanda discusses the current community health survey they are conducting, and encourages people to participate. Call them or visit their website if you would like to take the survey. Additionally, Yolanda discusses the current work of the Health Council and shares with us their priorities for the coming year. A resource guide is available at the SM Health Council's website or by calling them. It's a great resource for access to a wide variety of services provided by agencies and organizations throughout San Miguel County.

Dennis did the weather, as Arielle was in Albuquerque accepting an award for her social justice work.
Our dear friend and community activist, Steve Flores, passed away on October 19th, 2009. The loss is significant, as Steve devoted his life to the well-being of his family and his community. Our condolences to all the Flores Family.
