The primary topic is bullying. We talk about how damaging bullying can be for children, and we discuss options for handling such situations so children don't feel disempowered. Susanne reminds us that children are deep thinkers with deep emotions, and we need to support them in gaining life skills and finding their voice. Books are one tool for helping children to develop their voice, and to validate their life experience.
